Misty River State of the Art CAD Design and Engineering Systems
Hull Integrity Testing
Composite Floor Construction

We use three different CAD systems to establish and determine design, fit and finish, and performance. Our engineering and manufacturing systems ensure every specification is precise.

Every boat is tested for water tightness. More importantly, Misty River tests all of the models under load simulation to ensure hull integrity. Durability testing under dynamic loading allows our engineers to evaluate failure rates and compile vibration analysis.

Boat floors are typically constructed of pressure treated plywood, which holds up to 77% moisture content. Selected Misty River boats use composite materials which retain only 4% moisture content. The end result is a superior floor system which will not rot. Our materials are guaranteed for as long as you own your boat.

All Aluminum Transom
Extruded Gunwales
Wider, Deeper, Longer

Selected Misty River boats are constructed with a dual-ply 3/8" all-aluminum, wood-free transom in order to prevent rot, torque and twist. This provides the most structurally sound transom, and makes our boats "best-in-class".

The wide textured gunwales are structural elements that also provide a slip free surface to enter and exit the boat. This results in great grip when holding on to the boat, whether standing at the dock, or loading up at the end of the day.

Misty River offers some of the widest, deepest and most stable boats in the industry. Designed with the help of experienced boaters and Industrial Designers, our boats are the ultimate example of ergonomics, comfort and functionality.

Poured Foam Floatation

Gas-resistant floatation foam below deck increases hull strength, quiets the ride and adds stability. We are one of the few manufacturers that measures noise coefficients in order to ensure low decibel ambience resulting in the quietest ride possible.
